Assistant Quantity Surveyor Fareham, Hampshire£50,000 - £55,000 (inclusive of car allowance)Large Residential Development | Long-Term OpportunityWe are working in partnership with a respected private house builder to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a major residential development based in Fareham, Hampshire.This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded and career-driven individual to support a Project Surveyor on-site, working with a company known for quality homes and long-term career growth. The Role:You’ll be joining an experienced commercial team and supporting the Project Surveyor with all aspects of cost and contract management on a large-scale housing project. This is a site-based role offering valuable exposure to complex residential builds and excellent progression potential.Key Responsibilities:Assist with procurement, subcontractor management, and tender processesSupport in valuations, cost reporting, and budget trackingPrepare and review variations, interim payments, and final accountsLiaise with internal site and technical teams, as well as external contractorsContribute to monthly CVRs and commercial updatesAbout You:2+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within residential constructionFamiliar with UK building regs and construction methodsStrong attention to detail and confident communicatorProficient in relevant commercial software and MS OfficeHNC/HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)The Offer:Salary of £50,000 - £55,000 (inclusive of car allowance)Opportunity to work with a well-established, privately-owned developerSite-based role on a major residential project in the Fareham areaClear pathway for career progression and developmentApply Now If you're an Assistant Quantity Surveyor ready to take the next step and gain valuable experience on a large residential site, we’d love to hear from you.
