Excellent public transport links, including buses, trams, and Waverley Station, make commuting and connectivity seamless.The RoleAs an experienced ASIC Design engineer, you will join a company that provides a broad range of IP, including CPUs, high-performance DSPs, memory and IO controllers, hardware accelerators, and subsystem solutions, widely adopted across the semiconductor industry and found in billions of chips shipped annually.In this role, you will be responsible for the development and design of reference systems targeting applications such as Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Radar, Automotive, and other high-performance domains.As an ASIC Design Engineer, you will bring strong experience in IP integration and SoC/compute system implementation. You will collaborate closely with development teams focused on compute and interface IP to build and demonstrate complete solutions.Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and debug SoC reference systems.Integrate compute, memory and interface IP in system designs.Analyse IP products and implementation flows.Identify and implement best practices in hardware design and verification to improve efficiency and reliability.Requirements:BS in Electronic Engineering/Computer Science with 8+ years’ work experience, or MS in EE/CS with 5+ years’ experience. Must have at least 5 years of experience in ASIC design AND verification. Must have expertise in some of the following domains: processor design, on-chip communication and interconnects, high-speed interfaces, or chiplets. Expertise in Verilog/System Verilog for coding and verification. Proficiency in RTL design techniques.Experience in using UVM for functional verification of ASIC designs. Experience with FPGA OR emulation will be desirable.
