Job Description

Title: Marketing ManagerLocation: London ( On Site)Marketing Manager will work closely with the Global Brand Marketing Manager, Director of Marketing and the General Manager to plan and maintain the brand identity through strategic planning and activation. Marketing Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day execution and implementation of activities to support Shanghai Me London. The role requires organization, flexibility, and creativity. Marketing Manager will report directly to the Global Brand Marketing Manager, Director of Marketing and the General Manager. Knowledge and interest in the F&B, brand, and marketing industries are essential with a willingness to learn more.RESPONSIBILITIES:Creating content brief for any marketing activationConceiving and proposing to the Global Brand Marketing Manager a marketing calendar with a localized approachSupporting the execution of activations in the restaurantEvents - where the Marketing Manager should take full ownership of overseeing the event, treating it as a professional mission. Throughout the process, it’s important to keep the global brand marketing manager informed and engaged, ensuring alignment with the overall brand strategyThe Marketing Manager should assist and support the Global Brand Marketing manager in charge of private dining events (PDR), offering help with resources like flowers and menu design, etc. Seamless communication should be maintained to ensure that the global brand marketing manager is kept informed throughout the processConceiving and proposing to the Global Brand Marketing Manager a social media calendar with a localised approachOverseeing strategic digital campaigns to drive awareness, build brand equity and convert prospective guests to loyal guestsLiaising often and closely with the brand team and the operation team to create a strong channel of communication in order to meet business needsAssisting in the development of all brand collateralsMaintaining tone of voice across all brand touch points on digital and local platformsResponding to DM's across all platforms from guestsManaging Graphic Design, PR agency, and Digital Marketing Agency to deliver tailor-made results that actively drives the brand equity and visibilityKeeping a close record of challenges and achievements through monthly reportingWorking closely with the Brand Manager to ensure brand standards are consistently metCoordinating photoshoots and videoshootsMontly BRM reports with social media, PR and digital marketing inclusionsQ U A L I F I C A T I O N S &S K I L L S4-5 years experience in Brand/Marketing (experience within the F&B industry is preferred)Working proficiency in the language of their environmentHospitality/ F&B backgroundUnderstanding of London F&B sceneKeen interest in high end, fine-dining restaurantFinger on the pulse of what is current culturally, socially, and especially in the dining scene of their respective countryCapacity to work autonomouslyExperience in working with operations team (FOH and BOH)Strong interpersonal skillsVery organised, well spoken, patient, hospitable, creative, passionate, positive mindsetAble to work effectively on their own and as part of a global teamAble to work under pressureEye for quality and detailExperience in content creation, digital marketing, events management, budgeting, reporting, account management, overseeing external agencies to the highest standardSelf-starter with solution driven mindsetEducational background in marketing preferredExcellent social media skills/ content creation and knowledge of Microsoft office/ Mailchimp/ CanvaConfident in spoken and written English
