You will be heavily responsible for outstanding people leadership whilst also playing a role in the digital transformation programmes set by the wider organisation.Essential Skills 10+ years of experience running complex IT/Software/Digital Projects and Programmes5 + years of people management experience – ideally with Project Managers, Delivery leads , Business Analyst’s etcExperience leading project management teams of atleast 5-10+ peersExperience working via a Global PMO functionExperience working with very senior stakeholdersExperience working on large scale portfolio'sExperience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologiesExperience with Project Governance and Business Stakeholder ManagementSenior IT Stakeholder and Business Leadership expeience and Governance Board exposureA strong understanding of key business areas such as IT and DigitalBeing a People leader, you will be experienced in developing the teams capabilities, from coaching and mentoring to the personal development plans of project manage and alike.Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):Head up the Digital Project Management function consisting of between 6-12 Project Managers and Project Coordinators across multiple locations globally.Drive strategic & value driven projects whilst building strong partnerships key stakeholdersParticipate in internal Digital Governance sessions and decision making bodiesChampion the adoption of industry best practices and drive innovation within the PMO teamYou will be responsible for up to 12 direct reportsYou will be articulate and a driver of change within the transformation teamContinue to build a high-performing project management teamDrive project management and leadership maturity within this teamManagement of projects ranging from £250,000 - £10milThe purpose of this role is to lead a group of Project Managers whilst overseeing their performance and support the development within the PMO.
