Check out the details for this vacancy, with a world-leading airline company, below:Location: Waterside, London(3 days a week)Contract ended: 6 monthsHours: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours a week)Rate: £500- £600 per day through UMBRELLA (Inside IR35)Job purpose:The SAP Architect plays a critical role in defining and guiding the architectural direction of SAP platforms across the enterprise, with a strong focus on S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SuccessFactors, and Concur. This role works closely with the SAP Centre of Excellence (CoE) to translate functional requirements into scalable, secure, and compliant SAP solutions that integrate effectively with enterprise cloud and network platforms.The architect will provide deep domain expertise, ensuring that SAP solutions are aligned with enterprise architecture standards, leveraging modern integration patterns, and dependent on performant and resilient cloud and network infrastructureAccountabilities:Serve as the architectural lead across SAP S/4HANA, BTP, SuccessFactors, and Concur platforms, ensuring cohesive, end-to-end solution design.Collaborate closely with the SAP CoE team to shape and refine functional requirements into robust architecture models and solution roadmaps.Lead and contribute to SAP architecture design sessions, guiding choices related to hosting, integration, security, scalability, and extensibility.Ensure effective integration of SAP solutions with the wider enterprise landscape, including cloud-native services, network dependencies, and identity platforms.Provide architectural oversight for SAP-related projects and enhancements, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and cloud/network capabilities.Interface with the central Cloud & Network Services teams to ensure SAP workloads receive the required infrastructure support (latency, availability, connectivity, etc.).Contribute to the development and governance of enterprise-wide SAP architecture principles, patterns, and guardrails.Support vendor solution assessments, technical design reviews, and strategic roadmap planning for SAP technologiesSkillsEssential:Extensive experience in SAP architecture, including S/4HANA and SAP BTP.Deep understanding of SAP SuccessFactors, Concur, and related integration methods (e.g., SAP CPI, APIs, Event Mesh).Proven experience in designing and integrating SAP workloads in hybrid or cloud environments (AWS, Azure).Strong grasp of SAP security, identity management (e.g., IAS/IPS), and cloud connectivity (SDI, VPN, Direct Connect, etc.).Ability to collaborate across technology and functional teams, including cloud infrastructure and network services.Strong documentation, stakeholder engagement, and solution governance skills.DesirableSAP certifications in relevant platforms (S/4HANA, BTP, SuccessFactors).Experience in SAP RISE transformations or cloud-first SAP deployments.Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.Experience in regulated industries or global SAP deployments.StakeholderSAP Centre of Excellence (CoE) TeamEnterprise and Solution ArchitectsCloud & Network Services TeamsProject and Programme ManagersInformation Security & Compliance TeamsBusiness Function Leads (HR, Finance, Procurement, etc.).Start DateASAPInterested in applying?
