At Colas, we’re looking for an experienced and proactive Learning & Development Partner to join our HR Support Services team. Based at our Head Office in Solihull, B37 7YB (with UK travel required), you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering our training strategy, ensuring compliance, and supporting the growth of our people across all levels of the organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of learning at Colas, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to build capability and support career development across our businessMain Responsibilities In collaboration with business leaders, the focus is on identifying and prioritising training and development needs while coordinating and managing daily training requests to ensure accurate training records. Support is provided for the implementation of the Learning and Development (L&D) strategy in partnership with the Talent Development Manager, including the design and delivery of bespoke leadership and management development programs. Additionally, training effectiveness is evaluated to contribute to ROI and ROE assessments, and relationships with training providers are managed, encompassing contract and SLA negotiations. Support is also extended to apprenticeship and graduate programs, which include recruitment and onboarding, along with assistance in audits and budget reviews related to training activities. It's essential to maintain training matrices and ensure their alignment with the Learning Management System while contributing to the continuous improvement of L&D processes, systems, and policies.Ideal Candidate To be considered for this role, a minimum requirement of a CIPD Level 3 qualification in Learning and Development is essential, along with proven experience in a consultative or specialist L&D role. Candidates should have a strong understanding of the full learning cycle and talent development strategies, complemented by excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems is necessary, as well as experience in managing multiple projects within a fast-paced environment.
