Location: GlasgowSalary: £55,000 – £65,000Industry: Food ManufacturingOverview:A leading food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to oversee and improve production operations at their Glasgow facility. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader with a strong background in food manufacturing, ideally with exposure to lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.Key Responsibilities:Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations across multiple production linesDrive safety, quality, and performance targets in line with site KPIsImplement and embed lean manufacturing techniques to improve efficiencyManage and mentor shift managers and production teamsMonitor and control departmental budgets and resourcesCollaborate with engineering, technical, and planning teams to ensure smooth operationsLead site initiatives in continuous improvement and OEE trackingRequirements:Proven experience in a similar Manufacturing Manager or Production Manager role within food manufacturingStrong leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teamsExcellent understanding of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma (certification desirable)Strong knowledge of food safety, compliance, and site H&S practicesAbility to analyse production data and implement improvement plansFor more information about this vacancy, please apply.
