We are proud to partner with a major global health care company based in Leeds.We are looking for a Clean Room Technician to join our client on a long-term temporary basis.As a clean room technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, assembling, and packaging products according to manufacturing procedures. You will also maintain accurate records and documentation related to the work in progress and the quality checks and inspections.You will be working alongside production supervisors to resolve line issues and will carry out basic maintenance of tools and equipment. You will also carry out all scheduled and unscheduled cleaning and maintain high standards of housekeeping at all times.You will have a proven work history in a similar environment or an extensive history in the manufacture, production, and packaging of precision parts.Principal Accountabilities: Expedite W/Os to agreed day rate / product mix.Attention to detail is a must.Confident with the use of the following digital callipers, micrometres and height gauge.Work with Customs/Prototype team to support Continuing Care Orders.Receipt/Pick raw materials to support Leeds legacy made and Continuing Care products.Able to operate cleaning systems for implants (Hamo and Optimal passivation line).Be familiar with the ethos of cGMP, and particularly the hygiene specifications and apply internal quality systems and methods to all aspects of work, for both finished products and packaging materials.Accurate interpretation of technical specifications, work instructions, overlays and use of associated measuring equipment.The ability to prioritise your own workload and work to tight deadlines within the constraints of Health, Safety and Environmental policy and current legislation.Develop and maintain effective working relationships and ensure good communication is established with all internal and external resources.Flexibility of function will be required to ensure efficient processing of all Stores and final clean and pack processes.Minor routine machine maintenance / OAC (tooling changes, daily & weekly checks and routine cleaning etc).Ensuring that housekeeping is maintained for Clean & Pack areas, in line with daily/monthly cleaning procedures.Ensure all cardboard and waste materials are disposed of correctly and all consumables are replenished on time (including packaging materials, nitrogen and Plas Plus bottles).Adherence to all EHS, Quality and Finance procedures.Responsible for their own and others health and safety and should report any unsafe condition as soon as possible so that preventative and corrective action can be taken.Should cooperate with their employer on all aspects of health and safety and assist them in discharging their legal duties.Qualifications, Experience and Special AptitudesCan do attitude.Results and customer driven.Practical experience of working within a clean room environment.Experience of working with cGMP.Ability to operate and navigate computer systems and access software packages such as ThinkWorx Navigate, JDE Oneworld and the Worldwide Labelling system.Excellent communication skills, via e-mail and verbally.
