They work closely with their local borough training hubs who in turn work with GP practices, PCNs, GP Federations and others in identifying educational needs. They review their strategy annually ensuring we stay on track in achieving our ambition to allow all primary care team members to develop and grow throughout their careers, creating a skilled workforce and making General Practice a desirable career option.About the role:Salary: 80,000 - 90,000 per annumContract type: PermanentWorking arrangements: 3-4 days per week (flexible)Location: Hybrid, mostly remote but with an expectation that attendance anywhere within the boroughs covered by the ICS may be needed from time to timeKey deliverables will include, but are not limited to: Deliver contractual responsibilities to NHSE and the ICB and any other stakeholders it contracts withDeliver a professional, efficient, high quality Training Hub with effective business processes supporting training and development across the entire geographyWork collaboratively across the 8 boroughs to establish the training and workforce development needs of General Practice (and increasingly other parts of Primary Care)Develop diverse strategic relationships into the ICB / NHSE / DoH, educational and research establishments, NHS Trusts and other synergistic partners to further the objectives of the Training Hub and to raise training and development fundsPrimary Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Development of the Training Hub strategy that supports the key deliverables and ensures the Training Hub is set up to be an enabler for the local provision and a robust support system to themLead, manage, and support a team of training subject matter experts, project managers and administratorsWork closely with local Training Hubs and their Primary Care Teams to ensure training programs meet the evolving needs of primary careBuild and maintain strong relationships with NHS England, Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), Health Education England (HEE), training providers, and professional bodiesThe successful candidate MUST:Have extensive experience in the Healthcare sector at senior level, with knowledge of roles and needs within Primary CareExcellent stakeholder managementVenn Group is an equal opportunities employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates.
