Global Category Manager - Hard FM - 65,000 to 75,000 | 10% bonus, company car + full corporate benefits | Based out of either - London, Warwickshire or HampshireAre you ready to apply Make sure you understand all the responsibilities and tasks associated with this role before proceeding.This is an amazing opportunity for someone to join a market leading, truly global business who have many arms of what they cover.They are looking an experienced Category Manager, with extensive experience in Hard FM spend areas, where main areas of focus will be managing large value and complex projects.The group function is going through an exiting transformation, where they have expanded the function and there will be continuous opportunities for progressionRole and responsibilities:Report into the Head of Global Procurement - Facilities Management, within a a good sized team of fellow colleagues at various levelsDevelop, design and continuously improve category strategiesEnd to end sourcing, within designated spend areas using a strategic approachWorking with the senior business leads, to develop category strategies and category planningContinuous advice to the your stakeholders on market trends, new innovations and knowledge of the supplier marketBe able to manage and understand both regulated and un-regulated complex projectsEnsure in parallel to strategic procurement, ensuring best commercial value for the businessExperience required:Extensive category management experience looking after Hard FMStrong and proven, strategic category management in a a large complex businessShow that you have delivered savings, in a large and similar sized businessAbility to engage, negotiate and influence senior stakeholders up to Board LevelStrong stakeholder management, using different approaches to type, level and maturity of relationshipsWorked in a large and cross-functional procurement teamMCIPS qualification nice to have, but not essentialRemote working/work at home options are available for this role.
