It also faces significant challenges with deforestation, and child/slave labour. We provide a solution to this.Our innovative approach merges low-carbon, abundant ingredients with our proprietary fermentation tech and uses conventional chocolate manufacturing equipment. The end result is a cocoa-free chocolate alternative that tastes, melts, grates and snaps the same as conventional chocolate but avoids the associated ethical, social and environmental problems.Win-Wins first products are a range of award-winning alt-chocs: vegan m.lk, milk, and dark choc easy melt buttons for B2B industry partners.Position Overview:As the NPD Manager within our R&D team, youll lead the development of next generation products for our alt-chocolate range by transforming concepts into market-ready formulations. This practical and collaborative role combines expertise in ingredients, food science and flavour chemistry with a technical understanding of scaled-up manufacturing requirements. Youll guide recipe formulation, rapid prototyping & testing, to ensure that each product meets our standards for taste, texture and functionality, while being commercially oriented and production ready. Collaborating closely with Operations and Sales teams, youll help to keep projects aligned with our business goals and sustainability mission.Roles & Responsibilities:Lead the development of alt-chocolate and confectionery products from concept through to commercialisationProvide guidance and expertise in recipe formulation and rapid prototyping, ensuring products meet sensory, quality and functional standards for B2B applicationsCollaborate with B2B customers and manufacturing partners to understand our products in application, and assist where needed in end-product developmentSource and evaluate sustainable ingredients to enhance product functionality and appealSet timelines, manage milestones and collaborate with the Operations team to transition from lab concept to productionEnsure food safety and quality compliance for all new productsSupport, mentor and guide the NPD team and ensure effective communication and collaboration with the R&D, Operations and Sales teamsQualifications:BSc/MSc in Food Science, Food Chemistry, or related fieldSubstantial experience (typically 8+ years) in product development, ideally within chocolate, confectionery, plant-based or sensory-focused categoriesDemonstrable understanding of ingredient functionality and organoleptics, including emulsification, texture modification and sensory scienceExperience of successfully scaling products from concept to marketSkilled in leadership, project management and B2B customisationPassionate about sustainability, diversity and food innovationBenefits:Competitive salary (50-60k per annum, in-line with experience) and performance-based incentivesComprehensive health benefits package, including medical and gym membershipOpportunities for professional development and career advancement within a rapidly growing companyA collaborative and inclusive work environment that values diversity and creativityAccess to a vibrant office in the center of East London (Hackney Wick), with a barista-level coffee machine and delicious snacks (we are a food company after all!)The opportunity to be part of a movement towards a more sustainable and ethical food industryHow to Apply:If you are an experienced food scientist with a passion for chocolate innovation and a drive to make a positive impact, we want to hear from you!
