Closing date: 1st June Interview process: Two face-to-face interviews at our site in Burton LatimerWe are pleased to announce an exceptional opportunity to become a part of our dynamic Category team as the Category Development Manager.In this capacity, you will provide guidance on category insights, develop strategic recommendations, and implement action plans for our esteemed suppliers.This position will coordinate efforts between internal customer teams and external Buying and Category teams to identify and deliver growth opportunities, fostering mutual benefits.The role is essential in facilitating the execution of customers Joint Business Plans (JBP) and the financial budget of Weetabix Food Company. You will be a vital member of the team, collaborating closely with the National Account Management team to align your customer with our successful Category Strategy, thereby enhancing our revenue growth and overall channel strategy.The recipe! (Please note the responsibilities listed below are not exhaustive)The purpose of this role is Assume complete responsibility for the formulation, execution, and delivery of the Customer Category Strategy. Assist in developing and implementing Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with customers. Foster a cohesive virtual team among customers and enhance collaboration across various functions (Commercial, Supply, etc.). Collaboratively develop, execute, and evaluate activation, promotion, and shopper marketing initiatives in close partnership with the Revenue Management, Commercial, and Shopper Marketing Manager. Provide support in managing internal processes to facilitate the successful execution of initiatives for Weetabix. RequirementsNon-negotiables You will showcase your experience overseeing the development of the Grocery account category within a commercial context. You will possess exceptional communication, persuasive, and relationship-building abilities. You will demonstrate the capacity to plan strategically, respond swiftly to changing circumstances, and assist in effectively implementing customer recommendations that align with our strategies and our clients. Possess insight, commercial awareness, and comprehend the broader implications of category and commercial decisions.
