An Audit Manager is being recruited for a large, established and growing accountancy firm based in Southampton.Find out more about the daily tasks, overall responsibilities, and required experience for this opportunity by scrolling down now.As Audit Manager, you will be responsible for a portfolio of clients including managing the relationship between the client and the engagement team. You would supervise a team to deliver exceptional client service and high quality audits. Specific responsibilities will include:Regular discussions with the client to confirm progress, identify solutions to any hurdles and ensure reasonable expectations are met.Monitoring quality and managing riskEstablish relationship with key contactsIdentify and highlight any opportunities for the practice to supportPlan, assign, monitor and review workof the teamManaging fees and billings across the portfolioUnderstand and appreciate key commercial aspects of the clients business.Ensure deadlines metYou will need to be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA) and have proven audit and accounts experience gained within a professional practice, together with strong communication skills, both internally and directly with clients, supervisory skills and the ability to delegate work and manage several assignments at the same time.
