We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated female worker to join our team as a Live-in Healthcare Assistant. Job Role: As a Live-in Healthcare Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive, round-the-clock care and support to a client in their own home in the March area. Working on an alternative week schedule(specifically one week living in the client's home, followed by one week off) , your responsibilities will include: Personal Care: Assisting with all aspects of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene. Medication Administration: Administering medication as prescribed and ensuring timely and accurate record-keeping. Meal Preparation: Planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary needs and preferences. Companionship: Providing meaningful companionship, emotional support, and engaging in social interaction. Mobility Assistance: Supporting clients with safe transfers and mobility around their home. Light Housekeeping: Maintaining a clean, tidy, and comfortable living environment, including light cleaning and laundry related to the client's immediate needs. Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and detailed daily records of care provided, observations, and any changes in the client's condition. Liaison: Communicating effectively with family members, healthcare professionals, and the Verity Healthcare team. Due to the personal care needs of the client, we require a female worker for this position. What We're Looking For: Experience in Care: Previous experience as a healthcare assistant or in a similar caregiving role is essential, ideally with some live-in care experience.
