Working as part of the Employment & Skills division, you will play a key role in supporting unemployed adults into work by aligning employer needs with training provision and helping develop sustainable employment pathways.This role requires someone who is confident, target-driven, and passionate about social impact. You'll work closely with internal teams and employers to connect talent with opportunity, support business growth, and promote a range of funded training solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesEmployer Relationship DevelopmentPromote funded training and employment programmes to employers across non-devolved regionsBuild and maintain relationships with new and existing employer partnersIntroduce employers to Sector-Based Work Academies and pre-employment training offersPromote the benefits of hiring unemployed adults and providing placement opportunitiesOrganise and attend employer meetings, work placements, job trials, and recruitment eventsProvide post-placement support to employers and learners to ensure retention and satisfactionStay up to date on regional labour market trends and employer needsPartnership Management and Strategic InputSupport the strategic goals of the Employment & Skills division through employer engagementCollaborate with the senior management team to shape business development plansContribute to organisational growth by achieving engagement and income targetsMaintain effective tracking and reporting on employer activity and outcomesWork collaboratively with internal delivery teams to ensure effective learner-to-employer matchingRepresent the organisation at industry events, networking forums, and stakeholder meetingsPerson SpecificationExperience in employer engagement, recruitment, or business developmentProven ability to build and manage partnerships across a range of sectorsStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence decision-makersOrganised and able to manage a varied workload across multiple employer accountsIT proficient (Microsoft 365, CRM systems, Teams or Google equivalents)Self-motivated and target-driven with a solutions-focused approachPassionate about employability and supporting individuals into sustainable workKnowledge of employment support programmes or adult educationUnderstanding of labour market barriers for unemployed or disadvantaged adultsExperience supporting learners or job seekers with work preparationProfessional AttributesIntegrity and professionalismCreative, resourceful, and resilientGood judgement and problem-solving abilityGrowth mindset and willingness to adaptSafeguarding CommitmentAll applicants must be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of learners and vulnerable adults.
