City of Derry Swimming Club is currently recruiting for the role of Head Coach.With a proud tradition of developing swimmers from grassroots through to regional and national level, the Club is looking for an enthusiastic, driven, and experienced coach to lead its coaching team and build on a strong legacy of excellence. Established in 1959, City of Derry ASC has grown into one of the most respected aquatic clubs in Ireland, promoting swimming for all ages and abilities.This is an exciting opportunity for a Level 2 qualified coach (or above) to lead our competitive swim programme during an ambitious phase of growth. The successful candidate will be responsible not only for delivering high quality coaching but also for integrating performance support services and forging strategic partnerships.The Club currently delivers programmes across multiple local venues and is working towards a long-term vision that includes the opening of a new 50m pool by 2030.The successful applicant will be engaged on a contract for services basis, with an expected availability of approximately 20-25 hours per week. The initial contract will be for a duration of one year, with the possibility of renewal.
