About The RoleAs a About The RoleAs aLarge Language Model Developer , you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimising large-scale language models (LLM). You will have a variety of stakeholders, in the enterprise and engineering teams at the NCC. You will work closely with our research and engineering teams to create state-of-the-art natural language processing (NLP) solutions that drive our products and services.Key Responsibilities:Optimise and fine-tune models for performance, accuracy, and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate language models into various applications. Conduct research to stay updated with the latest advancements in NLP and machine learning. Implement and maintain scalable and robust NLP pipelines. Develop multi-agent, multi-modal systems interpreting images, video, robotic motion, and sensor outputs. Analyse and interpret model performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvements. Document model development processes and results.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field. Proven experience in developing and deploying large language models. Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. In-depth knowledge of NLP techniques, including tokenisation, embeddings, transformers, and attention mechanisms. Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed computing. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.The position requires successful completion of MoD Security Clearance.Preferred Qualifications:Ph.D. in a related field. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
