Job DescriptionThe experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below.Part of a major international engineering group, this organisation is embarking on a significant investment programme to transform a large production site with new buildings, facilities and capital equipment.Senior Programme Manager Manufacturing Site TransformationSalary: Highly competitive salary & benefits packageLocation: West Midlands (commutable from Dudley, Kidderminster, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Redditch, Telford, South Birmingham areas)Reporting to the MD you will be responsible for a multi million pound Site Transformation programme delivering construction of new buildings, site facilities and upgrading & installing new manufacturing equipment, without disrupting current production operationso Managing the implementation and delivery of large site transformation budgeto Sub-contractor management/co-ordination, supervision and instruction to meet required standardso Designing new manufacturing facilities, refurbishing existing facilities and transferring production into new factoryo Installation and management of site utilities as part of the facilities management teamo Installation and management of production machinery and process layout as part of the manufacturing engineering teamo Compilation of CAPEX documentation for presentation to directorso Creating tender documentation and sending it out to all relevant contractors prior to procuremento Ensuring all CDM management, risk assessments and methods statements are adhered too Active management of and engagement with internal and external stakeholdersExperience:You will already have significant experience in a Programme Manager, Facilities Manager or Engineering Project Manager capacity with expertise in technical contractor management and site co-ordinationo Proven track record of delivering large capital expenditure projects within time and budgeto Background delivering manufacturing infrastructure, site facilities and production equipmento Proven ability to lead and motivate cross functional teams delivering high value turnkey projectso Analytical with good judgement, commercial business sense and problem solving skillso Relation builder with good communications skills with both internal and external stakeholderso Structured worker with good time management and project management abilityThe opportunity:This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager, Facilities Manager or Engineering Manager to be part of an established business with a strong sales plan.
