A leading international law firm with a strong Scottish presence is looking to recruit an experienced Real Estate Lawyer (24+ PQE) to join its nationally recognised Energy & Infrastructure team. This is a rare opportunity to work at the forefront of the UKs energy transition, supporting some of the countrys most ambitious and high-value renewable energy and infrastructure projects.All the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.This role sits within a dedicated real estate practice that is fully embedded in the firms wider Energy & Infrastructure offering, providing specialist advice across the lifecycle of projects, from development and land assembly through to financing, disposal, and operation.What Youll Work On:Youll act for a range of high-profile clients across the UK and internationally, including utilities, developers, institutional investors, and major corporates. Projects include:Onshore and offshore wind developmentsSolar PV farms and hybrid renewablesBattery storage and grid infrastructureHydrogen and emerging clean energy technologiesLarge-scale infrastructure corridors, ports, and energy hubsYour work will focus on the real estate elements of these deals, including:Site acquisition and assembly for development projectsOption agreements, leases, wayleaves, and easementsDue diligence for project finance and M&A transactionsWorking alongside planning, construction, and regulatory specialists to deliver seamless, full-lifecycle adviceYoull be supported by an expert team led by nationally recognised partners, and work closely with specialists across real estate, energy, and finance.The Ideal Candidate:Qualified in Scotland, England & Wales, or dual-qualified24+ PQE, ideally with experience in the property aspects of energy/infrastructure dealsStrong technical grounding in real estate law and exposure to complex land or project workPassionate about the renewable energy sector and contributing to the UKs net zero goalsA confident communicator with a collaborative, client-focused mindsetWhats on Offer:A collaborative, high-performing team with real depth in both real estate and energy lawAccess to market-leading projects and blue-chip clientsFlexible hybrid working (typically 23 days in the office)Competitive salary, generous bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package
