This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the lead partner and help shape the long-term direction of a developing practice. The successful candidate will manage a high-quality claimant caseload, support junior team members, and contribute to strategic growth initiatives. There is also a short to medium-term route to partnership available for more senior applicants.RESPONSIBILITIESManage a varied caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters from instruction to resolution.Provide expert legal advice to clients on the merits of their claims, funding options, and case strategy.Instruct and liaise with medical experts and counsel, ensuring high standards of evidence gathering.Draft key legal documents, including Letters of Claim and Schedules of Loss.Represent clients in negotiations and litigation, including settlement discussions and trial preparation.Build and maintain strong, empathetic client relationships, offering clear and compassionate guidance.Supervise and support junior team members as needed, ensuring quality and consistency.Contribute to the growth of the department through business development and networking activities.Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal firm requirements, including accurate time recording and billing.ABOUT YOU4+ years PQE with solid experience handling claimant clinical negligence claims.Demonstrable track record of managing complex cases independently.Excellent client care skills with the ability to navigate sensitive and emotional matters.Confident communicator with strong drafting and negotiation skills.BENEFITS29 days annual leave (including office closure during Christmas) plus public holidaysHybrid working model (typically 2 days from home)Enhanced pension schemeLife assurance (4x salary)Private medical insurance (BUPA)Healthcare cash planFree breakfast and lunch on in-office daysEnhanced parental leave policiesDiscounted gym membershipsIf youre an experienced clinical negligence solicitor looking for the next step in your career, wed love to hear from you.
