Our client is looking for an experienced multi skilled engineer to join the business on a permanent basis. The role holder will be responsible for testing and repairing equipment across the manufacturing facility.Whats on Offer:Paying circa 48,000Company pension25 days holiday + bank holidaysMonday Friday (days/lates)Responsibilities:Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on a wide range of production equipment, including vehicles and other machinery.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimise downtime and production interruptions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality.Conform to safety rules and apply good electrical and safety practices.Background Experience: Engineering degree or relatable qualificationsProven experience in a similar role within a food manufacturing or processing environment.Strong fault-finding skillsExcellent ability to communicate with stakeholders across various levels.Strong organisational skills and an exceptional attention to detail.For more information regarding this opportunity contact Lomond MacPherson on:lomond@alexandersteele.com / 07900416043
