We are looking for a talented Dyno Technician to join our Client's team. This role would best suit someone who works well in a team and has experience in Dyno testing and powertrain calibration activities.Work as a member of a team to keep Dyno Engines updated with correct level h/w and controls and running, across several Test Rooms.Arrange installation of required instrumentation with relevant workshop groups on certain parts that will then be fitted to the Dyno Engines.Liaise with Vehicle and Apps teams to validate Dyno/Rig kit BOMs and to ensure that these are ordered/delivered in time to support relevant testing, along with sufficient spares.Arranging Critical Parts and equipment as required to Support Dyno Homologation TestingPower and Smoke as well as Heavy Duty Dyno Emissions Cert.Carry out administrative duties - documentation of Engines, instrumentation, Spare parts, Exhausts/Catalysts used for Dyno testing, shipping documentation, requisitioning equipment and materials to support dyno testing at Dunton and elsewhere on some occasions.Forward planning of Engines, rig kits and instrumentation to ensure mount dates are achieved.Cross functional working with D&R engineers to ensure critical dyno systems -cooling circuits, wiring looms etc. are understood and documented for dyno use (debug document).Plan and oversee catalyst aging program to ensure correctly aged catalysts are available for each VPSE program as required.
