With significant investment planned, this is a high-impact role at the heart of the companys future growth, innovation, and sustainability strategy.The Opportunity:As Capital Projects Manager, you will drive end-to-end delivery of capital projects including site upgrades, equipment installations, layout changes and new builds. You will work across multi-disciplinary teams and sites, ensuring that all projects are executed to scope, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards in safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility.Key Responsibilities:Manage a wide variety of capital projects across distillery, maturation, and packaging operations.Develop project scopes, budgets, timelines, and risk registers.Ensure projects align with business growth, technical compliance (DSEAR/ATEX), and HMRC regulations.Collaborate cross-functionally with H&S, operations, quality, sustainability, and external contractors.Champion energy-efficient and sustainable design throughout all capital initiatives.Report on project ROI and support annual/long-term capital investment plans.What Were Looking For:Proven experience delivering capital projects in a manufacturing or process-driven environment (distilling/FMCG/pharma/food ideal but other process industries are considered).Strong understanding of project governance, legislation, and compliance (e.g. DSEAR, ATEX, HMRC bonded).Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.A passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and sustainability.Relevant engineering or technical degree preferred but other similar qualifications considered.Apply directly or contact Caroline Strachan:cstrachan@weareninetwenty.com07825 450 978
