Location: Home Counties Start Date: June / July 2025 Duration: 52 Weeks IR35 Status: Outside IR35I'm currently working with a major civil engineering contractor who is delivering a large-scale infrastructure project in the Home Counties, and we're now looking to bring on board a Project Manager with solid experience in water and utilities works.This is a 52-week contract, outside IR35, and is due to kick off in June or July ideal for someone whos looking to secure their next long-term contract on a complex and rewarding scheme.What Youll Be DoingThis role involves managing a multi-package civils job with some technically demanding elements. Youll be responsible for:Leading the delivery of:5km+ of water mainsOver 1km of ductingDrainage, manholes, and slab placementPrecast concrete structures and prefabricated tanksCoordinating multiple contractors, subcontractors, and site managersEnsuring programme, cost, and quality targets are metChairing progress meetings and reporting to senior stakeholdersWorking closely with the client team, suppliers, and design consultantsWhat Were Looking ForTo hit the ground running, youll need:Proven experience as a Project Manager in civil engineering, ideally on large infrastructure or utilities-heavy projectsStrong technical understanding of water & utilities installationsFamiliarity with precast and prefabricated systemsConfident managing multiple workstreams and contractor packages on-siteKnowledge of HSEQ and CDM regsSMSTS and CSCS essentialEngineering degree or relevant qualification preferredWhy Apply?Long-term contract on a high-value schemeOutside IR35 Limited Company engagement availableCompetitive day rate open to negotiation based on experienceA chance to take ownership of a technically diverse projectIf you're an experienced Civils PM ready for your next freelance challenge and available from June or July, Id love to speak with you.
