Were recruiting a Technical Manager on behalf of a respected group of leisure facilities in the Oxford area, seeking an experienced professional to oversee the maintenance of building structures and services, while driving forward energy efficiency and carbon reduction initiatives.In this permanent role, youll take ownership of a portfolio of sites, ensuring full statutory and contractual compliance while optimising the use of green energy systems to reduce dependence on the national grid. Its an exciting opportunity to make a real and lasting impact.Key Responsibilities:Lead and improve the Energy Management System to reduce energy usage and environmental impactManage and develop a team of technicians and supervisors across multiple facilitiesUndertake refurbishment and new build projectsMonitor energy expenditure and manage departmental budgetsEnsure compliance with all statutory regulations and contractual obligationsAnalyse utility data to identify and implement cost-effective, energy-saving opportunitiesCollaborate with operational teams and support capital projects focused on sustainabilityWhat Were Looking For:Strong understanding of building maintenance, health & safety, and relevant codes of practiceRecognised maintenance management or trade qualification Sound technical knowledge of building services including mechanical and electrical systems.Familiarity with quality assurance procedures and CAFM (computer-aided facility management) systems.Experience in multi-site facilities management.Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Full UK driving licence.Whats in It for You:Competitive salary up to 50,000Company van and comprehensive benefits packageThe opportunity to lead sustainability efforts across a forward-thinking leisure portfolioJoin a collaborative and supportive team environmentIf youre ready to take the lead on energy strategy and sustainable maintenance within a dynamic environment, wed love to hear from you.
