In this role, you will provide support and guidance to clinicians and managers in all aspects of quality and clinical governance and ensure that effective management of risk in a coordinated, systematic, transparent and focused way is achieved.You will be responsible for supporting the Directors and clinical teams with all aspects of quality and clinical governance management and will provide key support to risk management, governance arrangements, patient safety and quality improvement functions.Key Responsibilities:Clinical Governance and Quality ImprovementAct as an experienced source of advice for the leadership team in respect of maintaining an integrated governance function ensuring that the team can demonstrate that its services are Safe, Effective, Caring, Well-led and Responsive.Support the effective use of systems and processes which ensure that all aspects of clinical risk within DaVita UK are managed appropriately at every level, including incident and accident reporting and smooth administration of any clinical safety incidents.Ensure that incidents, risks and complaints investigations are undertaken in a timely manner, that reviews and investigations are undertaken, and internal or external reports are prepared to a high standard.To support improved performance and provide regular feedback on compliance against statutory and local requirements to enable the division to increase compliance proactively.Act as an experienced source of advice for the leadership team in respect of maintaining an integrated governance function ensuring that the division can demonstrate that its services are Safe, Effective, Caring, Well-led and Responsive.Lead on the collation of evidence of compliance with the CQC outcomes.Collate, and prepare data for relevant reports and committees including, medical outcomes, KPIs, PROMS and PREMS.Provide administrative support to meetings and preparation of routine governance and business-related reportsTo be successful in this role, youll need:QualificationsEssential criteriaEducated to Degree level or equivalent experience/qualificationEvidence of continuous professional development in relevant areaDesirable criteriaRisk management qualificationPatient Safety qualificationQuality Improvement qualificationExperienceEssential criteriaAt least 3 years experience in a similar roleProficient in use of Microsoft applications including, Excel, PowerPoint and WordFamiliar with UK regulatory landscape (CQC, NHS England Patient Safety Framework)Evidence of undertaking lead roles dealing with risk management, quality of care or patient safety issuesExperience of undertaking audits/surveys and change managementExperience of working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teamsExcellent report writing skillsExcellent attention to detailDesirable criteriaPractical experience of clinical careWorking knowledge of the NHS Patient Safety FrameworkExperience of dialysis servicesExperience of working in a system delivering remote servicesExperience of working in independent healthcareKnowledgeEssential criteriaKnowledge of all stages of the governance cycle and quality improvement process.Knowledge of NHS quality and governance strategy, policy and current issuesAble to organise and facilitate meetings effectivelyDesirable criteriaExperience in using RADAR and MEGPersonal QualitiesEssential criteriaSelf-motivated and committed with excellent interpersonal skills, influencing and persuasion skillsOrganised with good time management skills and able to work to tight deadlines and cope under pressureAble to work with staff at all levels across the organisationFlexibleSelf-confident, assertive and pro-activeWhat can you expect when you join?Competitive SalaryCommitment to your training and development35 Days paid leave per years (including bank holidays)Company Pension SchemeEmployee Assistance ProgrammeOnsite ParkingEmployee Discount SchemeDeath In Service CoverA "community first, company second" culture based on Core Values that really matterAn exciting, collaborative and driven multinational environmentLive our mission: To be the Provider, Partner, and Employer of ChoiceDedication, above all, to caring for our patients and teammates
