We are seeking aLogistics Coordinatorto work for a company based inFelixstowe .Salary & TermsSalary between £35,000 - £40,000 a year depending on experience Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PMRole & ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and schedule inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to customer requirements. Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and warehouse personnel to coordinate transportation and distribution activities. Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement teams to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained. Analyze transportation routes and optimize logistics processes to minimize costs and improve efficiency. Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments, including delays, damages, or shortages. Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and transportation activities using logistics management software. Implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Minimum RequirementsProven experience in logistics coordination, preferably within the transportation or distribution industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
