It is essential that the successful individual has industry knowledge, excellent standards and can communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. You will have a commercial mindset and be confident in delivering events to a set budget whilst not compromising on quality.The RoleYou will have direct contact with clients, taking over the planning after being briefed by the Sales Team and their initial organisation of their event. You will be responsible for all operational aspects of the event from this point onwards and be expected to be the hands-on manager on the day, ensuring the event is delivered in line with Caper & Berrys excellent reputation.Day-to-DayManaging the onsite delivery of eventsLiaising with clients in the lead up to the events and amending plans to suit their requestsBooking front and back of house staff for each event and motivating the whole teamCollaborating with the Sales, Kitchen and Warehouse teams to ensure a cohesive delivery of all eventsAttending site visits with clients and other suppliersOverseeing the entire logistical operation for your events alongside the warehouse team, including transportation and packing listsOrdering hire items including equipment, linen and kitchen setupsGenerating detailed notes and function sheets before the event and communicating these across the wider teamProducing accurate RAMS/Health and Safety documentation as requiredLiaising with chefs regarding menus, allergens and dietary requirementsBuilding and maintaining relationships with our preferred suppliers and venuesUpdating and re-issuing quotes to reflect final plans and controlling the overall event budgetWorking autonomously and effectively managing your own workload and flexible working hoursAdhering to strict venue regulations and good practicesPromoting the high standards and values of Caper & Berry at all timesYour SkillsAt least two years experience of successfully organising and delivering high profile eventsOutstanding project management and client service skillsAbility to communicate effectively and confidently in person, on the phone and by emailComputer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft OfficePassion for and extensive knowledge of food, drink and hospitalityCommercial understanding and excellent financial acumenBenefitsCompetitive salary plus paid overtimeHealthcare/wellness cashback schemeHoliday entitlement that increases with length of serviceDaily cooked lunchLearning and development activities for colleagues at all levelsGenerous employee referral bonusFlexible scheduleOn-site parkingOption to work from home when possibleOffice/HQ has a beautiful countryside location
