Location: London Sector: Large-Scale Construction & Regeneration Projects Employment Type: Full-Time | PermanentAre you an experienced Principal Design Manager ready to lead the design process on complex, high-value construction projects across London? A well-established contractor delivering some of the capitals most high-profile developments is looking for a senior design leader to join their team.This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in shaping the design and delivery of large-scale residential, commercial, hotel, and mixed-use projects from pre-construction through to post-completion. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the design function across multiple major projects.Attend and contribute to key meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.Oversee and mentor multidisciplinary design teams, including senior-level professionals.Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, CDM, and BIM requirements.Track performance against KPIs, identifying and mitigating design risks. What We're Looking ForProven experience delivering complex construction projects across sectors.Strong technical knowledge and understanding of statutory and sustainability requirements.Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.High commercial awareness and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.A passion for quality, innovation, and collaborative working.
