Location:East Midlands Airport, United Kingdom ? Position:FAA A&P Mechanic ️ Aircraft Experience:747-400 experience preferred; other widebody experience also considered ? Contract Type:Long-term, ongoing ? Start Date:Immediate and rolling throughout the year ? Pay Rates:New, updated competitive rates Requirements: ValidFAA A&P license Hands-on experience with commercial aircraft maintenance (wide-body preferred) Knowledge of B747 systems (CF6 or PW4000 experience is a plus) Must be eligible to work in the UK Ability to follow technical data, maintenance manuals, and complete documentation accurately Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-based environment Flexibility to work day/night shifts and weekends as needed Key Responsibilities: Perform routine and non-routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs. Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to identify faults and carry out corrective action. Ensure accurate and complete maintenance documentation. Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and airworthiness standards at all times Collaborate with engineers, planners, and other mechanics to ensure timely aircraft turnaround.
