The candidate should have a strong understanding of network protocols (Layer 2, 3, 4), wireless protocols, and experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure. A CCNA certification (or higher) obtained within the last 5 years is required. Knowledge of SD-WAN and SASE is highly desirable. This is a remote role with occasional travel. A full UK driving license is necessary.The role involves working static hours from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM (GMT/BST) Monday to Friday, and participating in an on-call rota (1 week every 5 weeks) for out-of-hours support.Job ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain network infrastructure with high availability and security.Troubleshoot and resolve network issues across various layers and platforms.Support and maintain cloud WAF.Perform routine network maintenance, upgrades, and patches.Collaborate with other IT teams for seamless integration of network services.Implement and manage Meraki, Ubiquiti, and SASE solutions.Support network-related incidents and requests.Develop and maintain network documentation.Travel to stations for on-site support when required.Stay updated with emerging networking technologies and best practices.Qualifications and CompetenciesMinimum 5 years of experience in network engineering.Deep knowledge of networking protocols and wireless protocols.Current CCNA or higher certification (within last 5 years).Basic understanding of SD-WAN and SASE.Experience with Cisco Meraki hardware.Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network devices.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.Excellent communication skills.Full UK driving license and ability to travel.Preferred QualificationsAdditional certifications like CCNP, JNCIA, etc.Experience with cloud networking, automation, or security solutions.Experience with Ubiquiti networking.Familiarity with network monitoring tools.If you meet these qualifications and are eager to grow your career, apply today!This description is not exhaustive and other duties may be assigned.We offer a permanent position in a dynamic environment at Frankfurt Airport, with the flexibility of remote work.Your Next Step If interested, please submit your resume in English.
