This is an opportunity to manage a large portfolio of clients and play a huge role in the further development of the Innovation Incentives team. You'll have the scope to shape your own progression within the firm and take on more responsibility, including the chance to expand into wider Corporate Tax, or Incentive products (CA, LRR, PB etc). The role can be based from a number of our client's offices, with hybrid working available.The opportunityAs an R&D Tax Manager, you will have the ability and motivation needed to:Own and manage a client portfolio with higher level of client responsibility, oversee your teams portfolios and inputting to workflow planningDeliver revenue and profitability targetsFoster enduring client relationshipsDay to day dutiesPrepare R&D reports for submission to HMRC and deliver R&D tax client services to a high standardDemonstrate a collaborative approach and be able to demonstrate an awareness of technical risk through well supported researchAim to increase your client base through an organised approach to business development e.g. networking, client recommendation requests, and developing referrer baseConfident in delivering technical advice and support to colleagues in relation to innovation incentives and tax planning for innovative companiesWhat are we looking for?Exposure to multiple sectors would be a distinct advantageStrong corporate tax background coupled with significant provable experience in R&D claimsTechnical knowledge and the ability to carry out research into complex areas of tax legislationHere are just some of the benefitsBirthday time offCylce to work schemeDiscounts from hundreds of retailersFlexible workingLeading incentive schemeEnhanced maternity & paternity leavePension schemeReferral schemeLife assuranceWellbeing supportFor more information please apply, or contact Ben Worsley.
