Brixton, South West London Start Date: ASAP Full-time | Term-time onlyAre you a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner looking to build experience in a supportive and welcoming nursery setting?Do you have a passion for helping young children with additional needs flourish?A fantastic term-time only nursery school in Brixton is looking for a caring and enthusiastic SEND Nursery Assistant to work within their specialist nurture room.The Role:You will:Support children under 5 years with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).Assist with play-based learning, sensory activities, and daily routines.Provide personal care where required.Work closely with teachers and nursery staff to support each childs development.Help with preparing activities, keeping equipment clean and safe, and contributing to child observations and reports.This is a full-time role (Monday to Friday), offered until July 2025, with the potential for ongoing opportunities in September.Who Were Looking For:You must hold a Level 2 Early Years qualification recognised for ratios in nursery settings.Experience supporting children with SEND is ideal, but not essential the right attitude and willingness to learn are just as important!Youll be calm, patient, and committed to making a positive difference.About the Nursery:This Outstanding-rated nursery school in Brixton has a warm, inclusive atmosphere and a strong, supportive team.
