Were working with a cutting-edge industrial automation company delivering high-spec robotic and electromechanical systems to leading names in aerospace, defence, and renewables. Theyre looking for someone who not only understands the technical side of automation but can lead teams, manage stakeholders, and drive results in fast-paced environments. Your Role: Lead the full lifecycle of bespoke automation projects from concept to commissioning Own client relationships, stakeholder communication, and delivery standards Coordinate cross-functional teams (controls, software, mechanical, workshop) Manage documentation, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation Provide technical input for proposals and support business development Oversee workshop execution and quality assurance Travel to client and supplier sites as needed (UK & occasional international) What were looking for: 3 years in Project Engineering or Technical Project Management (automation, robotics, or machinery) Strong leadership , communication, and team coordination skills Proven ability to manage technical deliverables and interface with customers Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation) Experience with project frameworks (APM, PRINCE2, PMP desirable) Hands-on exposure to: Robotics (ABB, KUKA, FANUC) Machine vision systems (2D/3D) Motion control and electromechanical systems CE compliance and risk assessments Youre a great fit if you: Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic engineering environment Are solutions-oriented and great at problem solving Can lead with confidence and build trust with internal and external stakeholders Are open to UK travel and occasional nights away Whats on offer: 45K55K depending on experience 25 days holiday bank holidays Flexible working environment Pension scheme sick pay Free on-site parking Opportunity to lead groundbreaking engineering projects in automation and robotics Ready to lead the future of automation?
