One of the UK’s leading manufacturers in the window blind industry who design, manufacturer, supply and distribute quality components and blinds to over 100 countries is looking for a Cutting Supervisor on a full time and permanent basis based in Hyde. 38.5 hours per week · 9.30am - 18.30pm, Monday / Tuesday · 9.30am-18.00pm, Wednesday/Thursday · 9.30am - 16.30pm, Friday Based at the site in Hyde. · As the Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities within the Cut Length areas of Finished Goods. · You will be supervising and motivating a team of staff as they complete daily orders of lengths of window blind fabrics. · You will ensure that the area has the materials and skills to fulfil the orders which operate on a next day delivery service, co-ordinating movements of staff, training new starters and reporting on fabric quality. · You will co-ordinate regular cycle counts in the area and use our ERP system to ensure accurate stock levels are maintained. · If successful you will complete a three-month probation period.
