With offices globally, you will be based in their Head Office, in the heart of the City of London and only a stone throw away from the prestigious Lloyd's of London building.Due to their excellent performance and growth, they are now expanding and are seeking motivated IBA Technician to support the activities of the Finance and Technical Processing team.Role Duties Responsible for bank reconciliation and cash matchingPreparing and processing premiums, commission and claims paymentsBank reconciliations and knowledge of banking systems to enable premium, commission and claims paymentsAccurate record keeping using our internal electronic data management systemMonitoring credit risk, funding, unallocated cash, un-forwarded balances and unrealised BrokerageProduction on intracompany reports and associated schedulesQuery resolution in relation to receipts of unexpected or unidentified fundsQuery resolution from clients and underwritersLiaison with international offices and providing IBA supportTo build and maintain constructive working relationships with internal clientsAbout YouYou will have experience of performing the role of a IBA TechnicianHaving Insurance experienced is essential - ideally London Market experience (working for a Lloyd's Broker is advantageous)Working knowledge of client money rules and legal principles applicable to insuranceExcellent numeracyMS Excel to intermediate levelAttention to detail and accuracyGood communication with ability and desire to understand problems and propose appropriate solutions that achieve the desired outcomeAbility to manage time, prioritise and ensure the deadlines are met without compromising on qualityBenefits Competitive salary and discretionary bonus25 Days holidayFlexible holiday purchase schemeDeath in service cover (7.5x base salary)Private health insuranceHealth care cash planDefined contribution pension scheme (minimum employee contribution 5% of base, with 10% contributed by company)Bike 2 Work SchemeEmployee Assistance ProgrammeTravel InsuranceWellbeing
