Job Title: Semi-Senior / Senior Accountant Chartered Practice Location: Remote (with occasional office contact) About the Client We're working exclusively with one of the most forward-thinking and modern chartered accountancy practices in the UK.Find out more about the daily tasks, overall responsibilities, and required experience for this opportunity by scrolling down now.Fully digitalised and embracing flexible working, this is a firm thats redefining what it means to be an accountant in todays market.They combine deep technical knowledge with a fresh, client-focused approach and theyre now looking to strengthen their team with the addition of a Semi-Senior or Senior Accountant.This is an exciting opportunity for someone whos ready to hit the ground running, take real ownership of their work, and help drive the business forward during a key growth phase.The Role As a Semi-Senior or Senior Accountant, you'll manage your own portfolio of clients across a range of sectors, supporting them with year-end accounts, tax, VAT, and cloud accounting.The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, well-versed in practice life, and enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, tech-led environment.This is a perfect fit for someone whos looking for a flexible, remote-first role within a progressive firm that truly values initiative and modern thinking.Key Responsibilities Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for a portfolio of SME clients Preparing corporation tax computations and VAT returns Producing management accounts and ad hoc reports Advising clients and building strong working relationships Supporting junior team members and reviewing work (if at senior level) Helping onboard new clients and refine internal processes Using cloud-based tools like Xero, QuickBooks, and Dext efficiently Playing an active role in improving systems and contributing ideas for ongoing development What Were Looking For ACA or ACCA part-qualified, finalist, or fully qualified Strong grasp of cloud-based accounting software and digital processes Excellent communication and organisational skills Self-motivated and confident working remotely Able to work under pressure and manage multiple client deadlines
