In this vital role, you will be responsible for reviewing aged debt, negotiating settlements, and identifying claims suitable for litigation. You will also play a key part in onboarding clients and instructing panel solicitors where appropriate.This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident negotiator with solid credit hire experience who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and is committed to delivering excellent results.Key Responsibilities:Proactively negotiate with third parties to secure successful settlement outcomesApply the ABI GTA, relevant case law, and credit hire principles to resolve cases effectivelyAssess prospects of success for credit hire, storage, and recovery claims, including liability disputesAnalyse and interpret Basic Hire Rate (BHR) reportsManage your own caseload efficiently and maintain strong organisational disciplineInitiate outbound calls to insurers to discuss cases and agree on settlementsConduct thorough case reviews prior to escalation for litigationEvaluate impecuniosity and assess supporting evidenceProvide excellent client care to gather necessary information and onboard clients for litigationEssential Skills and Experience:Previous experience in credit hire is essentialIn-depth knowledge of the ABI GTA and credit hire case lawStrong background in RTA claims, with the ability to assess liability and indemnity issuesFamiliarity with the MIB and related agreementsConfident telephone manner and excellent negotiation skillsOrganised and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritise a busy caseloadExceptional verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and case management systemsNumerate, with the ability to interpret and negotiate hire invoicesCollaborative team player with a positive, solution-focused attitudeWhy Join Us?Dynamic and supportive team environmentOpportunities for professional growth and developmentCompetitive salary and benefits packageChance to make a real impact in a key area of the businessFantastic Salary between 26,500-30,000 Experience dependentMonday-Friday only 9am- 5pmHybrid working model.Free parking on siteHealth Assured Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)Private Medical Insurance25 days of holiday plus Bank HolidaysLife Assurance (x4 salary)PensionMonthly McDonalds breakfastCompany EventsReady to apply?If you have the experience, drive, and skill set were looking for, wed love to hear from you.
