If you are committed to making a difference through education and fostering student growth, we would love to hear from you.For more information about our institution, visit: https://www.omneseducation.com/en/our-facilities/the-campuses/london-school/The Role:The successful candidate is expected:To teach the following in person: Operational Research module from mid-September to mid-December 2025 on campus (The module is 36 hours and will be taught to 3 to 4 groups, depending on availabilities):Operational Research (Bachelor Year 3 , Level 6) semester abroad for an Integrated Masters programme in Computational Science.The module is structured in two parts:Linear Programming, covering model formulation, the graphical solution method, the simplex algorithm, duality theory, and sensitivity analysis;Optimisation, focusing on single-variable optimisation, constrained optimisation involving non-linear objective functions with multiple variables, and the application of Lagrangian methods.To design the module handbooks (a template will be provided) and all teaching -related content.To design and mark all assessments, providing constructive written feedback.To attend induction & core meetings.To monitor, evaluate, and assess individual student progress and achievement.To monitor students' attendance and maintain records.To deliver inclusive and high-quality teaching.To fully participate in the quality assurance and improvement processes and procedures.Person Specification:Essential:Compliance: Proof of ability to work and live in the UKMaster's in a relevant fieldAbility to provide excellent, personalised support & feedback to studentsExcellent level of written and spoken EnglishExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent ability with Microsoft package and VLEDesirable:Qualification in HE Teaching e.g. PG Cert in Learning & TeachingFellowship of Advance HESalary & Benefits:From 80/h depending on qualification and experience.Potential funding for Advance HE Fellowship application.In-house training.Application Process:To apply, send your CV and a cover letter as attachments to job@oels.co.ukUse each criterion as a heading and provide clear and specific examples to illustrate how you meet each of these criteria.Provide details of two referees.For more information, contact Mrs Caroline Gautier, Director, at cgautier@omneseducation.comClosing date: June 15th, 2025 Interviews: Week of June 30th, 2025 (on campus)
