Responsibilities of the Senior Estimator:Organising and managing tender pricing communicationsSupporting bid kick-off meetings and contributing to bid programme planningCollaborating with procurement and commercial teams on RFQsPreparing Excel-based tender pricing using supply chain quotes and internal ratesBenchmarking, analysing quotations, and testing productivity ratesLeading pricing handover meetings and supporting risk management discussionsIdentifying and managing project risks and commercial exposures during the tender processPreparing client-facing pricing documents and assisting with presentations post-submissionMentoring junior estimators and driving continuous improvement within the estimating functionCriteria for the Senior Estimator:At least 3 years of experience in an infrastructure estimating role (substation experience desirable)Basic knowledge of engineering or construction processes and terminologyThe ability to interpret technical drawings and specificationsA good understanding of commercial and contractual languageFlexibility in working hours to meet tender submission timescalesA full UK driving licenceThis role provides a fantastic platform for professional growth in a supportive, forward-thinking business get in touch today with your full C.V.
