At their Filton site, they are delivering next-generation structural solutions for key programmes. Due to ongoing expansion in this area, they are looking to appoint a Design Structures Approver or Authoriser to provide technical leadership and design governance within high-value, multi-disciplinary projects.THE DESIGN APPROVER OR AUTHORISER ROLE:Own and lead the design activity ensuring product meets airworthiness and design quality requirementsDeliver technical studies, trade-offs and design investigationsGovern mod opening, DFM release, and closure to deliver change on time and to costLead internal and external designers with a focus on lean engineering principlesEnsure governance of design maturity reviews in line with company policiesDESIGN APPROVER OR AUTHORISER ESSENTIAL SKILLS:Proven experience leading complex design or engineering project teamsStrong track record of delivery to Time, Cost, and Quality in high-value programmesSkilled in creative problem-solving and risk managementExperienced with CATIA V5, ICC, Zamiz, ECM, Solings, and PASSStrong stakeholder management and decision-making abilityExperience implementing Design to Cost initiatives and new technology strategiesActive Design Approval/Authorisation Signatory essentialTO BE CONSIDERED:Please either apply through this advert or email me directly via ryan.baker@searchability.com.
