Youll lead the QA team, ensure standards are met day-in, day-out, and play a key role in site readiness for BRC audits. You'll also be responsible for preparing reports and updates for the senior leadership team keeping them informed.This is a role for someone who thrives on the factory floor, gets stuck into the detail, and leads from the front.Key Responsibilities:Own and manage the sites Quality Management System (QMS)Lead HACCP, food safety, and GMP compliance across all departmentsMonitor and improve performance against internal and external standards (BRC, retailer codes of practice, etc.)Manage a team of QA Technicians coaching, supporting and ensuring consistencyLead internal audits, support external inspections, and manage non-conformancesReview quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective actionsChampion a culture of continuous improvement and food safety excellenceWork cross-functionally with production, technical, and site leadership teamsWhat Youll Bring:Proven QA/Technical experience in food manufacturing Strong working knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP, and food legislationExperience managing or developing a QA teamA proactive, practical mindset someone who leads by example and gets things doneStrong communication and influencing skills across all levelsQualifications in food science, microbiology, or a related field preferredIf youre a quality-focused leader whos ready to roll up your sleeves and make an impact, wed love to hear from you.
