This would be working on a range of industrial machines to support with servicing, repairs, and general maintenance to ensure reduced downtime within the factoy. Our client are a leading manufacturer supplying to a wide range of industries, where you will have the opportunity to develop and progress. This role would be working for an experienced Engineering Manager who has a wealth of knowledge to support additional training. Salary : £35,000 - £40,000 (Depending on experience) Hours : Monday to Friday (no weekends) working 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am (weekly rotating) Location : Northampton Key Responsibilities : Perform routine preventative maintenance on associated equipment, minimising downtime and process interruption. Complete mechanical and electrical repairs and part changes. General diagnostic responsibilities and servicing of machinery. Manage varied machines including hydraulic and pneumatic machinery. Support Engineers with project work and take ownership of projects when qualified. Carry out a variety of duties independently following documented procedures. Assist with logistical tasks, such as equipment relocation. Promote teamwork and collaboration across all areas. Requirements & Competencies : Previous experience in Maintenance or Engineering roles. Knowledge of pneumatic, gas, electro-mechanical, and automation systems would be preferred. Basic understanding of electrical safety and general health 'safety. Good communication skills - fluency in written and spoken English. Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
