At Natures Way Foods, were looking for a Supplier Assurance Manager to lead our supplier assurance and specifications team and ensure our products meet the highest safety and quality standards.You could be just the right applicant for this job Read all associated information and make sure to apply.What you get from us Salary of 40,000- 50,000 (dependent on experience) Employer matched pension up to 5% Health cash plan Flexible benefits including; Corporate gym discounts, shopping discounts, enhanced maternity & paternity policy and many more Access to online GP & life assurance Key responsibilities Lead the development and execution of the food safety and compliance strategy, ensuring consistently safe, legal, and high-quality products across the supply base Oversee all aspects of supplier assurance and specifications, including food safety, due diligence, legal compliance (e.g.pesticide MRL, raw micro), and ethical standards Manage the implementation and internal auditing of the NWF compliance standard across all sites, driving best practices and continuous improvement Build and lead a high-performing supplier assurance and specifications team, promoting cross-functional collaboration, succession planning, and a culture of excellence Monitor and manage supplier performance, including investigation of out-of-spec issues and communication of key food safety and compliance KPIs across the business Stay up to date with industry standards and legislative developments, ensuring timely communication and integration into company practices Deputise for the Head of Technical in customer meetings, third-party committees, and industry forums Foster strong working relationships with executive and senior management teams to ensure alignment on food safety and compliance priorities Ensure a safe working environment for the team through risk assessments, training, and ongoing performance management You will have Extensive experience in auditing, ideally as a certified Lead Auditor, with a strong technical background in FMCG and perishable food products In-depth knowledge of food safety and pesticide legislation, HACCP, and advanced food hygiene standards Demonstrated success working with major retailers and foodservice customers across a range of food categories including fresh produce Solid understanding of multi-site operations and the ability to drive compliance and consistency across locations Strong people leadership and team development skills with proven experience managing high-performing teams Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels of the business A degree or equivalent in food technology or a related discipline is desirable About us Natures Way Foods is the leading manufacturer of prepared salads, coleslaw and food-to-go for supermarkets and retailers, and as such we work closely with farmers across Europe.But theres lots more to us than the products we make.Our culture is inclusive, and our people are diverse spanning 39 different languages.We operate four manufacturing facilities capable of producing over 326m units per year.It is an exciting time to join Natures Way Foods as we are growing rapidly and there are genuine opportunities to progress within the organisation.Interested?
