This role involves ensuring compliance with pension regulations, maintaining accurate records, and serving as a point of contact for employees regarding their pension benefits.ResponsibilitiesDay to day active, deferred and pensioner administration, including calculations, AVCs, new joiners, opt outs.General data maintenance for all categories of member, refunds deferred pensions transfers in (DC), transfers out, normal, late, early and ill-health retirements, retirement quotations, deaths in service/deferment/retirement.All Pensioner administration including adding and ceasing members to pensioner payroll, pension increases, tax queries, providing information to DWP, reclaiming overpaid pension instalments following deaths, tracing members when payments/correspondence are returned, commutation of pensions in payment, mortality exercises and general pensioner record maintenance including bank changes, address updates and power of attorneys.Your Skills and ExperienceSignificant level of pension administration experience DB and DC.Up to date knowledge of specific pensions legislation and HMRC requirements relating to occupational pension schemes.Strong numeracy, written and verbal communication skills.IT literate.Self-motivated, organised, acts on own initiative.
