This permanent position allows the chosen candidate to engage in a wide range of projects, leveraging skills acquired through formal training, work experience, and personal interest.Key Responsibilities: Leading planning and consents for Solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects Managing planning projects from start to finish, including coordination with clients, project stakeholders, and team members Reviewing consultant planning reports and documentation Overseeing project management elements such as budgets, stakeholder engagement, deliverables, and design aspects Acting as the primary client contact to ensure efficient project progress Ensuring planning compliance throughout the development lifecycle and construction phases Mentoring and supporting junior staff Conducting background research, desk studies, field visits, and preparing planning assessments, reports, and inputs for projects Liaising with authorities and stakeholders relevant to planning processesQualifications and Requirements: A minimum of a bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience At least five years experience, ideally within a planning consultancy or the planning department of a renewable energy company Strong report-writing skills A full, clean driving licenseIf you are interests in this position, please send your CV through to Rob Byrom.
