Location: Stafford Contract Length: 12 months (strong potential for extension) Openings: Several headcounts About the Role:Join a dynamic engineering team at the forefront of power systems innovation. Youll play a key role in validating and launching a new generation of 5000 series engines. This is a hands-on opportunity to work on first-time engine tests, component inspections, and full-cycle validation processes. Key Responsibilities:Execute engine test programs for diesel and gas enginesStrip down and rebuild engines for mechanical/electrical diagnosticsOperate and maintain instrumentation (thermocouples, pressure sensors, flow meters, emissions analyzers)Use test systems such as DSG, Cadet, and PUMAWrite and follow detailed test schedulesWork with ECU controller software What Youll Need:3+ years of experience in engine testing (diesel/gas)Strong mechanical and electrical background in engine systemsFamiliarity with genset low-voltage systemsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 or higher in Automotive Mechanics (HNC/HND/BEng preferred)Aerospace experience is a plus Top Attributes:Technically skilled and detail-orientedStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesCustomer-focused and self-motivated Work Schedule:Fully onsite, Monday to Thursday (6:45 AM 4:30 PM, 37 hours/week)Optional overtime on Fridays (paid at 1.5x rate)No remote work available
