Group Senior Buyer - Fleet - 53,000 to 63,000 | Envious full corporate benefits | REMOTE role with monthly visits to sites in the UK | A global FTSE 100 Professional Services businessHave you got the right qualifications and skills for this job Find out below, and hit apply to be considered.This is an incredible opportunity for someone to join a market leading, truly global business who have many arms of what they cover.They are looking an experienced Fleet Category Specialist to own the category across the UK, and potentially Europe in due course.In order to be considered for this role, you MUST have specialist Fleet category experience, managing various weighted Vehicles from 1.5 to 4 tonnes, where there will be a wide spec depending on which arm for the business it is.The group function is going through a hugely exiting transformation, where they have expanded the function and there will be continuous opportunities for progressionRole and responsibilities:Report into the Head of Global Procurement, within a a good sized team of fellow colleagues at various levelsDevelop, design and continuously improve category strategiesEnd to end sourcing, within designated spend areas using a strategic approachWorking with the senior business leads, to develop category strategies and category planningContinuous advice to the your stakeholders on market trends, new innovations and knowledge of the supplier marketBe able to manage and understand both regulated and un-regulated complex projectsEnsure in parallel to strategic procurement, ensuring best commercial value for the businessExperience required:Extensive experience in the Fleet category, being a subject matter expertStrong and proven, strategic category management in a a large complex businessWorked in a large, global and matrix organisationShow that you have delivered savings, in a large and similar sized businessAbility to engage, negotiate and influence senior stakeholders up to Board LevelStrong stakeholder management, using different approaches to type, level and maturity of relationshipsWorked in a large and cross-functional procurement teamMCIPS qualification nice to have, but not essentialRemote working/work at home options are available for this role.
