You will take responsibility for assisting customers with quality improvements as well as coordinating with the QA team and Site Internal Auditor/Compliance Manager.Maximise your chances of a successful application to this job by ensuring your CV and skills are a good match. As Technical Manager, your responsibilities will include:Developing and maintaining the Quality Management System and the site HACCP planVerifying that product quality meets customer specificationsSetting QA compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achievedDefining Quality & Technical procedures in conjunction with operating staffAssessing the product specifications of the company and its suppliers and comparing with customer requirementsEnsuring the Internal Auditing Programme is being adhered to and actions from internal audits are followed throughWriting technical and management reports (e.g., monthly technical reports based on KPIs)Carrying out shelf-life tests and ensuring that all staff involved in taking shelf-life samples are completing paperwork as requiredEnsuring that metal detector and weight checks are being carried out and documented at correct intervals.
