3D Printing Technician Salary: £30,000–£40,000Location: Aylesbury, UKAre you passionate about precision, innovation, and cutting-edge technology? Inspired by the precision and pace of elite motorsport engineering, their facility brings together world-class technology and a skilled team committed to pushing the boundaries of additive manufacturing.They don't just manufacture parts; they build lasting partnerships and deliver tailored solutions through innovation and excellence.The RoleWorking within our production team, your key responsibilities will include:Washing, cleaning, and bead blasting components to achieve high-quality finishesInspecting and packing parts with care and accuracyMixing and preparing resins and powders for 3D printing machinesMaintaining cleanliness and carrying out routine machine maintenanceHand sanding and finishing parts to meet exacting customer standardsSupporting machine monitoring—including some evening and weekend coverage (additional pay provided)Additional (but not essential) experience:Evaluating 3D STL files for printability and successOrienting parts for optimal surface finish and accuracyStrategically nesting jobs to improve machine efficiency and material usageCoordinating build schedules and maintaining workflowManaging print builds and maintaining machine cleanlinessIdeal Candidate ProfileHands-on experience in model making, engineering, or manufacturingFamiliarity with SLA, SLS, or MJF technologies is highly desirableAttention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solvingA proactive attitude with a passion for innovation and technical improvementPreferred (but not required) skills:Additive manufacturing software knowledgeUnderstanding of machine parameters and build optimisationExperience with 3D file preparation and repairPost-processing techniquesWhy Join Us?We offer more than just a job.
